Enrolment documentation

   COMPULSORY DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED TO THE REQUEST OF PRE-ENROLMENT TO MASTER OF SCIENCE PROGRAMMES

Inorder to complete the enrolment at the Politecnico di Milano,candidates holding a foreign degree should follow the diplomaticprocedures described below.

1. It is necessary to contact the Italian Diplomatic Representative in the country of residence and submit  the request (MODELLO F)for pre-enrolment at our university, during a period that changesslightly every year. For the academic year 2009/2010 this period wasApril 29th-May 30th, 2009. 
   This is the list of documents   to be enclosed compulsorily to the request:    
     
   a) Bachelor diploma or a certificate issued by a competent office, translated into Italian and certified   bythe Italian diplomatic representative in the country where theeducational system of the university issuing the diploma belongs to (forexample: for a university with British educational system in Peruvianterritory the Italian Diplomatic Representative of reference is theItalian Embassy/Consulate in London);
     
   b) the “Declaration of value” (Dichiarazione di valore)   issued by the Italian Diplomatic Representative as indicated in point a), related to the Bachelor degree;    
         
   c)    acertified academic transcript confirming the examinations passed,issued directly by the university and duly confirmed by the ItalianDiplomatic Representative. The Politecnico di Milano does NOT require atranslation of certifications written in English, French or Spanish;
         
   d)    detailed study programs foreach of the courses taken at the university to obtain the Bachelordegree/university qualification, on letterhead or stamped by the university where the student has achieved the degree. Politecnico di Milano DOES NOT require the translation of detailed study programs if written in English, French or Spanish.    

   Alternatively to points c) and d) the diploma supplement can be produced, if adopted.

     
2. Oncethe documentation has been completed, the Italian DiplomaticRepresentative will forward it to the Politecnico di Milano, enclosedto the pre-enrolment request previously complied by the student(Modello F).

Attention: in case ofmissing documentation, in accordance with the existing rules,Politecnico di Milano will revoke the enrolment at the Master ofScience programme chosen.
